Product Description

Curt focuses on being first-to-market with new custom fit hitch designs. Curt mechanically de-scales hitches before applying a thick powder coat finish leaving an attractive high-gloss, smooth surface. You will have no worries about your product rusting, as Curt features WeatherTite construction which seals the main body of the hitch. All Curt hitches come with mounting hardware and easy to follow installation instructions. Class 3 hitches have a 2 inch receiver opening, and rate up to 8,000 pounds gross trailer weight (GTW) and 800 pounds tongue weight (TW). Confident in the quality of these receiver hitches, Curt backs them up with a limited lifetime warranty and a one year finish warranty.

5This is is the one to buy!
By JohnnyBomber101
It's everything you want/need in a receiver for your Tig. We have a Curt basket and a Thule bike rack we use in it. The fit was perfect. Once you cut out the pre scored plastic in the bumper, it takes 5min to bolt it in place. The receiver is rock solid and the build quality is everything you expect from Curt. We were looking at $350 parts and labor, plus the Tig being in the shop all day in order to get a hitch installed at a U-haul down the street! Saved $200+ and was done in under 15min!

5Solid and super easy to install.
By S. Hill
Installed this bad boy on my 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan in about 10 minutes, tops. It's solid as all get out and well worth the money. Get yourself a utility knife to trim the underneath fascia, have a socket and ratchet, and you'll have no issue at all installing this. Save yourself tons of money going to the dealer and do this simple install yourself. Great product!
