The perfect solution!

I bought some EZ Grabbits almost two years ago locally. They have been a fantastic solution to keeping tarps on my RV and boat. Though I wondered how effective the sliding fastening system would be, I have found the tarp will tear before the fasteners will give way!

These can be permantly fastened down with a screw, or come with rope ties, so they are very versatile. Unlike the grommets on the tarp, these cover more area so aren't as likely to cause tearing.

Tarpologist's dream!!!

I have been camping for nearly 20 years and have learned all of the intricacies of hanging and pitching tarps. The one downfall to most tarps has always been the poor grommet stability. I have tried nearly every type of grommet replacement system out there and they all fail when you need them the most. The best test I had was when a micro-burst storm came through my campsite and pulled my 40'x60' tarp like a giant sail. In the end, the EZ Grabbit system stayed attached to the tarp. Unfortunately a 1 foot by 3 foot section of the tarp shredded away from the rest of the tarp (with the EZ Grabbit still intact).
These work fantastic for connecting two tarps together or (as the other reviewer mentioned) permanently mounting them to a surface (using a screw). For the money, best tarp investment money can buy for any type of camper.
